This is the name given to locally owned, boutique hotels on Antigua, that Caribbean island forever linked with the great cricketer, Viv Richards and whose other regular guests include Paul McCartney, Piers Morgan and Eric Clapton.
It’s not even St Patrick’s Day yet but the Irish will be all over out TV screens, radio stations and websites as they try and persuade us that we should have our holidays and short breaks with them this year. Depending on and ports have links. And it all starts today.
You’ve heard of the G20? Well there is also a T20, a group of twenty tourism ministers and yesterday they met in Paris to discuss you and me. Or eighteen of them did including our minister, John Penrose.

This year, Thai New Year – Songkran – falls between April 13 and 15. Water is at the heart of this three day festival: it symbolises starting the New Year with a clean slate as well as helping Thai people to beat the stifling April heat.
