One of the joys of life is upsetting or embarrassing your children. They did it to you when they were kids. Now they are grown up it can be time to get your own back. So on a recent visit to the US I had a late lunch in a Hooters.
For those of you who don’t know, Hooters is a chain of American restaurants where the waitresses wear tight, low slung tops and the shortest of hot pants. Emblazoned on their backs is the slogan, “Delightfully tacky yet unrefined.”

As well as that, Ryanair in the shape of Michael Cawley, the Chief Operating Officer was interviewed on BBC Breakfast and alleged that easyJet was a high fare airline.

Thanks, in part, to celebrity campers such as Sienna Miller, Jodie Kidd, Kate Moss, Jamie Oliver et al camping is now cool and it’s hip to be seen erecting a tent.
