According to research carried out for the Chicago and Illinois Tourist Office, 81% of us are looking for adventurous or meaningful holidays. Whether that is right or not, the tourist office has used it to create a competition using the iconic Route 66 as its appeal. The competition is to appoint an Illinois Route 66 Ambassador to highlight the some of the tourist attractions in the state to prospective UK visitors. All you have to do is give your contact details and say in up to 150 words why you should be the ambassador.
