You will know that the EU legislated some time ago so that you have redress against delays and cancellations when you fly. Those of you booking package holidays (where the flight and accommodation parts are sold as a package) have long been protected by the ATOL bonding scheme.
Now the EU has legislated to improve those who us who take cruises, travel on ferries or spend time on inland waterways.
