A great day out for all the family at this years North Tipperary Show. The main attractions include cattle, sheep, poultry, horse and pony showing classes as well as show jumping. There are competitions for the best floral displays, photography, baking, cooking, needleword, fruit and vegetable produce and the standard of entries is fantastic.We have displays throughout the day from local Irish dancing and modern dancing schools, tae quan do and martial arts schools. There was a pet farm corner with some other attractions such as snakes, owls, hares, rabbits, vultures and hedgehogs for petting.The donkey derby is always great fun and this year we had a kosak rider display and for the daring among the crowd a bucking bronco challenge. Our display of vintage cars and tractors was complimented by thrashing machines and a display of farm machinery. Our dog show is always a favourite so if you have a dog make sure to bring him too. A childrens corner has a selection of bouncy castles and cart machines for children of all ages.
