Gilpin Hotel & Lake House in Windermere named AA Hotel of the Year for England 2011
Gilpin Hotel & Lake House in Windermere has been named AA Hotel of the Year for England.

Are small dogs allowed?
If not allowed dogs,why not?
According to the details on “Britain’s Finest” website, the hotel is not dog friendly. I suspect the reason for this is down to the exceptional quality of the decoration and furnishings. The hotel doesn’t appear to cater for children under 7. However, the best advice would be to contact the Hotel directly and check with them.
