Weymouth Pavilion Forecourt, Dorset – Travelling Pliosaur Cinema
Travelling Pliosaur Cinema is a life-size Jurassic sea lizard (Horace) who will be touring the Dorset and Devon Jurassic Coast this summer. Brought to you by performing professors, audiences are invited to explore Horace and prepare him for the day, before venturing into his cavernous belly on a cinematic journey. Here you will experience the eccentric world of Professor Humphrieson and meet plesiosaurs and ichthyosaurs. The Travelling Pliosaur Cinema is a unique blend of engineering, film and puppetry devised by artist Sarah Butterworth, with theatrical engineer Mike Pattison, and film by Forkbeard Fantasy with the support of Activate Performing Arts and involving students from Arts University College, Bournemouth and Woodroffe School.
