Cilgerran Castle, Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire, Wales – Stories in a Thimble
As part of the Festival of British Archaeology, Cilgerran Castle will be hosting a variety of activities themed around a sixteenth-century bronze thimble found during a recent excavation. If you visit during the fortnight, you will be able to enjoy a trail of thimble-sized stories written on stones and placed around the site. You will also be able to try your hand at embroidery on our sewing wall.
