Mottisfont, Hampshire, England – Wind in the Willows and Worn to be Wild

Submitted by admin on June 19, 2012 – 10:56 amNo Comment

This summer, we host exhibitions inspired by the great outdoors, with a fabulous family trail to link exploration of our river and grounds with shows in the Gallery. Discover the world of Ratty, Mole and Toad through a display of 30 of the illustrations for the Wind in the Willows, drawn and hand-coloured by E.H. Shepard. Also find out how contemporary designer and photographer Kate Plumtree has been inspired by wildlife and landscape in Worn to be Wild, her exhibition of extraordinary couture dresses that have grown out of her studies of nature. You can even try some on yourself!
