John Rowell’s Paris

Submitted by Editor on July 15, 2012 – 4:47 pmNo Comment

Saturday was the French National Day or Bastille Day as we call it. Although it once celebrated the overthrow of the French monarchy, today it is an opportunity for French people everywhere to celebrate their “Frenchness.”

Instead, we celebrate the French capital through the eyes of one Briton, John Rowell, who moved to Paris a few years ago. Starting with the traditional fireworks erupting over the Eiffel Tower from last year’s July 14th celebrations, his images of Paris include buildings and cafes all seen through his eyes.
